DESCRIPTION

Hatta trek (mountain safari) - dates back between 20 and 30 centuries. Hatta village is considered one of the most ancient locations in the Emirate of Dubai. The Heritage Village is distinguished by its fortified buildings and has about 30 houses which have been fully restored to their old style. At first the guest will be taken to the hatta haritage village is constructed around an old settlement and is between the traditional mountainsvillages set in an oasis. The village helps you to discover the old world charm of barasti (palm leaves) and mud houses. There's a large central fort and tower which overlooks the village. Other added attractions are falaj, an oasis and vegetated seating areas where you can cool your heels. Includes an ancient old mosque dating 200 years back and the Al Husen Majlis, where the governor of the village used to received guests and visitors. Al Husen contains the meeting room, the living quarters and weapons room. The palm tree products house contains two rooms, one displaying palm tree products such as items made from its fronds and the other shows dates and making honey from dates. There is a traditional house in the Hatta style, showing a majlis, store, kitchen master bedroom and children's room. Hatta Heritage Village is overlooked by two round towers - the Southern and Northern Towers - to protect the city from external attacks. They were built in the 1880s, During the rule of Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Butti. After this wonderful visit to hatta haritage village the guests will be taken to the hatta damn where they can have a beautiful view of the dam and can even take pictures of the sightseeing view of the mountains and the crystal clean water. Then from the hatta dam the guests will be taken to great and unexpected beauty as we pass big and small Wadis and we cross lush landscape We will explore the Wadis and dry river beds, which are flooded after winter rains from the Hajar Mountains. A swim in one of those Wadis will give you nice refreshment in the winter month. The Wadi Hatta itself offers endless opportunities for exploration, either on foot or by four-wheel drive vehicle. After the Swim in the cold wadi the guest will be taken for lunch of the own choice wither they want a Arabic Food (MANDI - Mandi is usually made from meat (lamb or chicken), basmati rice, and a mixture of spices) OR a lunch in hatta fort hotel. Hatta is a little over an hour's drive from Dubai. When driving to Hatta, look out for huge sand dunes where you will see 4x4 vehicles dune driving. This half-day tour takes us to the 200 year old village of Hatta - which is located in the rough Hajar Mountains. After an early departure by 4X4 vehicles, we proceed along the road until we reach the mountains. There you will have an adventurous drive through the rocky landscape. An hour or so of rough driving can be rewarded by scenes of great and unexpected beauty as we pass big and small Wadis and we cross lush landscape, which is surrounding the small settlements and villages deep in the mountains. We will explore the Wadis and dry river beds, which are flooded after winter rains from the Hajar Mountains. A swim in one of those Wadis will give you a nice refreshment in the winter month. Later you can take a visit to the restored 16th century Hatta Fort, before getting your lunch. On the way back to Dubai we stop at one of those popular street markets, where you can find local carpets and potteries.
